Sandra Casado has been teaching ballroom dance since 1975, and is no stranger to the transformative power of dance. With decades of experience in competition, performance, and instruction, she has made it her life's mission to create a welcoming environment where individuals can explore the joy of movement and dance. "My true joy comes from opening the world of dance, making people feel comfortable learning an activity that most never thought they could, and taking them as far as they want to go in the dance world," Sandra shares.
Sandra's rich career spans several states, with studios in New York, California, Nevada, Arizona and North Carolina. She has also taught at schools, universities, fitness clubs, senior and community centers, and churches. After moving to Arkansas in 2020 to be closer to her son, Blaise Casado—owner of Carlson Gracie Vilonia—Sandra quickly became a part of the local community. During her time in Vilonia, she hosted charity events, taught and choreographed wedding dances, and organized social dance parties.
Though her family ties briefly took her to North Carolina, Sandra is thrilled to return to Vilonia to realize her vision of a dedicated dance studio. I can’t wait to share the joy of dance with the wonderful people of Vilonia," she says.
Located in the same building as Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and T.H.I.N.K. Coffee, Just Dance Vilonia will offer a wide range of classes. The Performing Arts program will include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and more, while the Ballroom program will feature all the Ballroom dances including Latin, Swing, Country, Hustle, Line Dancing, Argentine Tango and beyond.
Sandra's experience extends beyond teaching; she has raised three professional dancers and has a deep understanding of what it takes to nurture talent. Whether you’re a beginner looking to explore a new hobby or an aspiring performer, Just Dance Vilonia is designed to cater to all.
Sandra encourages everyone to follow Just Dance Vilonia on Facebook and Instagram for updates on class schedules, pricing, and grand opening details. "Don't be shy, give it a try!" she says with enthusiasm.
